Are flying saucers real? When someone spots a ufo are they really seeing a physical craft or is it something they are manifesting?
For so long, we as a ufo believing community have fought hard to prove they exist.
We’ve put up with massive cover ups designed to make believers look like they are one quart short of a gallon.
Since Roswell, it’s been a massive battle to confirm flying saucers are real. So am I now intimating that they are only real to the person manifesting them?
This is a pretty deep subject but we’ll do our best to explain what it all means.
As I’ve said before, I’m not the “sharpest tool in the shed” and even though this is a topic that’s hard to wrap your head around, you should take notice.
Are Flying Saucers Real

Noted Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Carl Jung, who founded analytical psychology, seemed to challenge the ufo beliefs of many when he wrote A Modern Myth of Things Seen in the Skies in 1958.
But as a tenured professor, Jung had to be careful how he portrayed his belief in ufos.
So in response to a query on his perspective on flying saucers, Jung penned a letter which was the catalyst to his book Flying Saucers.
Part of his letter read:
The problem with the ufos is, as you rightly say, a very fascinating one, but it is as puzzling as it is fascinating; since, in spite of all observations I know of, there is no certainty about their very nature. On the other side, there is an overwhelming material pointing to their legendary or mythological aspect. As a matter of fact the psychological aspect is so impressive, that one almost must regret that the ufos seem to be real after all.
So he says he must “regret that the ufos seem to be real after all”. It almost sounded as if he were apologizing for their existence.
The letter made him look like a ufo believer at a time when any academic making such claims would have been “run out of town”.
The Jung Theory On Flying Saucers
Mike Murburg is a CE 5 experiencer and runs regular group meetings on his Florida ranch for people who want to have human initiated contact experiences.
Murburg is a student of Carl Jung’s work and was especially drawn to his theories on flying saucers and synchronicity.
Jung theorized that people in a world where threatening situations were rife, would look for solace or saving from the heavens.
A christian example would be where someone is in a life threatening situation and they’ll immediately scream out the names God or Jesus.
But what has this got to do with the reality of ufos?
“What he’s saying is that humanity has a spiritual hunger that yields numinous projections of the unconscious”.
“So it’s a projection of humanity to be saved, at least that’s what Jung says”.
“And you have to realize that when he’s talking about this, he’s talking about flying saucers as being nothing more than psyche projections of the human soul and mind”.
“For those who don’t know, psyche is human soul-mind-spirit. It maintains the balance while seeking individuation at the same time”.
“It’s a projection of the psyche because something is missing in our society. Or something is dangerous in our society and we all want to be saved”.
“And that’s what he equates ufos with. They are projections of the psyche such as Jesus coming to the world to save us”.
“And if we don’t, we risk a total atomic annihilation”.
Flying Saucers Were Real To Jung
Murburg actually had the good fortune to get some “inside information” on Carl Jung’s real beliefs on flying saucers.
As we mentioned earlier, he had to be very guarded about his beliefs. He was living in a time when the majority doubted their existence. As a tenured professor, he could have put at risk several decades of groundbreaking work in the area of psychology.
“I’ve had a conversation with somebody that knew one of Carl Jung’s grandchildren”.
This person said yes, Carl Jung was in fact an experiencer. He not only personally knew ufos, and you can see that in his paintings, but he had to have been afraid of being outed”.
“Because if he had been outed, there’s this great body of work by someone who has done more for psychiatry, religion and for insight into the human soul than anybody ever has”.
“For him to go out and admit that yeah, I believe in UFOs and they are real would have negated a body of work that stretched over a period of almost 75 years”.
Final Thoughts?
As we mentioned, this is a deep subject. However, once you understand where Jung is coming from, it starts to make a lot of sense.
What are your feelings on this topic? Are flying saucers real?
In the following excerpt from my interview with Mike Murburg, he explains the logic behind Jung’s theory. Then there is the synchronicity connection.
Murburg also connects the aspect of why ufos are seen in greater numbers in perilous times. Then he explains what Jung meant when referring to ufos as a modern myth.
After experiencing sightings, synchronicities , lucid dreams, OBES, lost time, feelings of bliss and contact of a spiritual nature etc. for much of my 67 years (especially between 2006 and 2012 ) and researching I have come to the conclusion that it is very likely that we as a collective consciousness are doing it, same with the crop circles , we are communicating with ourselves , this ‘dream’ is getting an upgrade . We are creating a 5th dimensional dream to play in. How are we going to maintain this illusion of individuality but know we are one? We have to take it slow or we will get unbalanced, it is one thing to consider nothing is real, just a dream it’s another thing to integrate it. The mind will resist and create monsters! We will create demons or negative entities , we will create yet another religion with big bad reptilians , then we will of course have to have Commander Ashtar to save us ! This is one time line that is very possible , enough people are believing in that . But I may be wrong, I have no proof at all 🤪 Just a whole lot of experiences that could be any number of things .
No UFO’s are real, as are aliens. The concept that there is no life out there is crazy. All we need for proof, is Earth. Earth is a planet in a solar system, surrounded by other planets, and a star, in a galaxy with other stars, and planets .This planet has billions of life forms on it, and we interact with each other everyday. Again if we want proof that there is life on other planets, then just look at us all, we are all living beings on a planet..simple concept right. If anyone says that idea of other planets is crazy, again what is our moon……..a ball of cheese, or what is our sun……..a trillion watt light bulb?? Are UFOS, manifests of our psyche….well if I watch a duck fly by me I say to myself….does it look like a duck, sound like a duck, or flies like a duck, then it is a duck. Saying a UFO is a manifestation of our psyche is like saying that a bleeding knife cut on my finger is my imagination….No, I find that sometimes the easiest exploitation is usually the correct one. This is in no respect to the higher educated individuals, but I often find that with higher education, the attempt to explain an issue tends to be other thought. Or in short refer to the duck above., the answer is almost always right in front of our noses.
You have made some excellent and very pertinent points.
